Jenn and Brandon’s wedding was my last Yosemite wedding of the year and it took advantage of the great fall color in Yosemite Valley. The color was absolutely spectacular and it was a joy to spend the day searching out the most vivid locations. I love these small Yosemite weddings – everyone has such an amazing time and there’s always a room full of personalities. Jenna and Kyle | Wolf Lakes Wedding | Sanger, CA

Jenna and Kyle’s wedding can only be described as an epic experience. They did something I’ve never seen before and used the entire Wolf Lakes facility for their reception with cocktails at Lakeside, dinner on the lawn beside the lake, and cake and dancing in the Garden Pavilion. Beyond all that, they were married in a ceremony in a brand new church in Lemoore which meant a long drive to and from the ceremony. Amazingly, nearly everything (aside from a small limo problem) went off without a hitch and it was an amazing day. Enjoy a few of my favorite images from the day…

Maritza and Ben | Wolf Lakes Wedding | Sanger, CA

Maritza and Ben were married at Our Lady of Perpetual Help followed by a gorgeous reception at Wolf Lakes Park in the Garden Pavilion. The threat of rain never came, but it did deliver an amazing sky for their portrait session – added a whole new dimension that we don’t get often here in the valley. Enjoy the slideshow!

Sorry for the long gap in posts here, it’s been a crazy summer/fall season and I have a lot to show! We’re going to start with this wedding from late September, but keep your eyes on this site as new weddings are going to be posted every couple days or so. Julie and Johnny’s wedding day took us all across the countryside starting at Julie and Johnny’s home, then to The Vista near Merced, back to Chowchilla for the ceremony, and finally ending up in Fresno at the Raddison in downtown Fresno for the beautifully decorated reception. Maribell and Rick | Wedding from St. Mary’s Catholic Church | Visalia, CA

Maribell and Rick were the winners of the 9/10/11 sweepstakes, securing that date before all others! I was happy to make the trip to Visalia and shoot at St Mary’s, a beautiful and historic church that I’ve long wanted to photograph. Following their ceremony, they had their reception at the Holiday Inn complete with Mariachis and a tequila toast.
