I'm happy to share the highlights from Katrina and Andrew's wedding with you! Their wedding and reception took place at Fig Garden Swim and Racquet in Fresno. I'll admit that the combination of one of my favorite venues, beautiful details, and a couple whose friends and family showed so much affection for them made my "favorites" selection process very difficult for me. Melanie and Brian were married at Fig Garden Swim and Racquet and it continues to be one of my favorite venues in Fresno. The grounds are beautiful, the light is remarkable, and the setting lends itself to the comfort of all the guests. Melanie had so many great details - all of which were handmade by her, Brian and other family members. And when I say everything, I mean everything - from her dress that was sewn by her mother, to the arbor that was fabricated by Brian. Straight to you from a hot July day in the Central Valley, here's Jenni and Scott's wedding! Fig Garden Swim and Racquet Club is hands down one of my favorite local venues. It's not as sprawling as some, like Wolf Lakes or Holland Park West, but what it lacks in spaciousness, it makes up for in vibe. It's really the closest you can get to having a "backyard wedding" without actually using a backyard. On top of that, this particular backyard can hold a few hundred of your closest family and friends. Stephanie and Kirk grew up literally 4 houses apart their whole lives, started dating in high school, and finally after 7? years were married on Memorial Day weekend in a beautiful ceremony at Trinity Lutheran with a reception following at one of my favorite venues, Fig Garden Swim and Racquet. Amy and David were married on a scorching hot Saturday a couple weeks ago. Not to worry though, the shade soon came and all the greenery of the surroundings kept everything bearable. The wedding itself was truly beautiful, and the decor was very unique. In keeping with the surroundings, everything for the ceremony was decorated with ferns and various evergreens. Jeanine and Joshua were married at River Park Bible Church with their reception following at the Fig Garden Swim and Racquet Club. One of the highlights for the day was the transportation between the church and the club. Jeanine and Joshua kept it a secret from the bridal party until we all walked outside and the Clovis Trolly was waiting for us. I rode with the bridal party to the reception and got some great images along the way - very cool way to travel for sure!
