So, I don’t usually write a whole lot in these posts, but this wedding was unbelievable in so many ways. Most notably was how absolutely unshakeable Bianca and Justin were in the face of several “hiccups” on their wedding day. I’ll just detail one of those unexpected happenings: The Ant Attack. Yes, I said “Ant Attack”. Now, it could be expected that an outdoor wedding in a barn, on a ranch, could lead to potential “insect issues”, but ants in the bride’s dress is a little over the top for sure! What happened next, though, really takes the cake. You’ll have to scroll down and check out the images to see what the ever prepared Nadia of Star Events grabbed out of her bag of tricks to remedy the issue. I promise you, you’ve never seen this on a wedding blog!

Another trip downtown, and a few more streets and alleys to explore! Bianca and Justin are getting married at the very rural Historic Harlan Ranch next year, so they thought it would be nice to get a different feel for their engagement session and head downtown for an urban session. They’re a real cool couple, quick to laugh – made it real easy to get everyone loosened up. Here’s a few of my favs…

So, sorry guys, I put in the order for good weather but someone screwed it up and sent us bone chilling, cold wind just in time for our early AM engagement shoot! I swear it wasn’t my fault, but in spite of the less than ideal conditions, Heather and Ryan did an outstanding job of not looking “freaking cold”!
