Spring is here so we headed up into the foothills for Sara and Ross' engagement session. It's still a little early, and we didn't get any winter rains, so the flowers and green grasses aren't up, but that didn't stop us from making some great pictures.
As promised, here's Michelle and Rhett's second wedding at the Allegretto Vineyard Resort in Paso Robles, CA. After a small, intimate wedding at the Mission San Miguel on Friday, they did it all again, and they did it bigger, on Saturday for a few hundred guests. The venue was spectacularly beautiful, every detail was thought of and executed. Even though there was a whole wedding the day before, that didn't stop anyone from being fully present on the day and powerful, emotional moments were abundant. Michelle is the 3rd, and last, of the Goodman siblings to get married and she decided to go large to finish it all off! This is the first of their TWO weddings from a few months ago. It was so great to see and reconnect with a family I have gotten to know over the past 7+ years and many weddings starting with her brother's wedding, her sister and cousin's wedding from last year, and another cousin a few years before that. This was a simple, intimate ceremony with family and closest of friends at the Mission San Miguel in Paso Robles, CA. They saved the big blowout for the next day at the Allegretto Resort which will be coming
The landscape just outside of Fresno is one of the most beautiful terrains I've seen anywhere. The beautiful rolling hills, majestic oak trees, lush grasses, and craggy granite outcroppings. It's a gorgeous location for an engagement session with such a great variety of form, color and texture. Andrea just got married a couple weeks ago, and their wedding post is coming very soon, but I though it was time I showed a handful of my favorites from their session.
What started out looking like a rainy day, ended up being a gorgeous day at Copper River Country Club. Hayley was looking amazing in her custom dress and Jay was looking dapper. So many beautiful details and emotional moments all around, all day. To finish it all off was a wild dance floor and live band to bring it all home. The lighting from the stage was some of the funnest light I've had to work with - I loved playing with it and the added dimension to the dance party! Enjoy a few of my favorites from the day. Jenna, Austin, their 2 dogs and a 100 some odd friends and family brought the bling to Panoche Creek on a beautiful spring day. The river's waters were still running high, but everything on site was beautifully lush and green and Cassandra's great skill as a planner (Weddings by Cassandra) brought everything together. Jenna was looking fantastic in her gown and her puppy was adorable ball of fur! Enjoy of few of my favorites from their wedding.
This girl. This girl was the best. So full of energy, joy, sparkle and personality. This was quite possibly some of the most fun I've had photographing a child and is pretty much what I'll go through the rest of my career hoping for another chance at. Enjoy my favorites! FEATURED FAMILY SESSIONS
Rockin' right along and we get to Courtney and James' wedding a the popular Wolf Lakes Park in the Lakeside venue. Such a great and expressive couple, easy to be friends with right away. Their friends were no different - they all showed up ready for a good time and support Courtney and James in their new life. Start to finish a great wedding, and I came away with a ton of favorites. Marisa and Adrienne were married in an intimate ceremony at a family home along the San Joaquin River. It was a stunningly beautiful location for a wedding and was made extra special in that it was also the same spot that Adrienne proposed to Marisa. They were married under the same canopy of trees as his proposal. Take a minute and enjoy a few of my favorites from the day.
